Vern and Mike fished Beaver Lake on Friday.  Started off really calm with no wind, but wind came in about 8:30 and got increasingly stronger as morning went on.  Wind was close to 20mph most of the late morning and afternoon.  Caught 5 fish on top water (poppers) early and then tried a lot of different lures, but found that weightless watermelon red flake Senkos were the only thing we could get bites on.  Found fish all over, but most were in middle of lake.  The lake is not very deep (most 5-7 feet) and covered with vegetation.  All of the fish were almost the same size (probably from same stocking class) with none bigger than 1 lb.  Caught 30 fish during our day from 7:30 to 3:00.  All of the fish were healthy and fought good for their size.  Another good day fishing!!!
