Five of us from OK drove down on Saturday to fish Backside of the Moon. We (and I use that term loosely) had an excellent day and a half of fishing. I, personally had the curse (flat tire, broken TM, broken phone and shut out) but my partners did well. More than 50 were boated with only 12 being under the limit. We had six fish that were over 5 lbs with 2 being around 6.5.
This lake is secluded but it is critical you follow the stakes (see flat tire above!). it is down about 10 feet but still a lot of water to fish. We caught a vast majority on lipless crankbaits in a chrome pattern. This is a great lake and well worth the trip. The main cover is rocks and ledges. I highly recommend this spot.
