It was great to be back on the water at Indian Cave. When we arrived at the lake, conditions weren’t idea. A weak cold front cleared just as we got on the water (colder, bluebird skies and a decent amount of wind). The fish didn’t seem to mind.  Fishing hard all day, we managed to get #100 in the boat just before we called it for the evening. Various swimbaits (mostly green pumpkin) were productive all day.The spawn is on as some females were still staging while it looked like other were done. Beautiful lake/property. It’s well rested after being closed for a year.
