Mike & I fished Black Hat Saturday afternoon.  The temp was in the low 50’s with a pretty good north wind.  Was a bit chilly.  Water temp was 59 when we started out and got up to 62 in spots later in the afternoon.  Water clarity was murky with a lot of moss and weeds in the upper end and along the banks.  We caught 8 total, one 5 lb, one 3 ½, one 3 and one 2 lb crappie.  We harvested 3.  A big spinner bait is what most were caught on but did get a couple on Texas rigged fluke.  A long the edges of the weed beds and out in the middle of the main part of the lake is where we caught fish.  The concrete boat ramp is great. Made launching and recovering our boats vey easy.  A beautiful property.
