A guest and I fished Beaver on the morning of 5/3. Arrived at the lake about 6:30 and we were on the water shortly after that. We both caught a couple fish pretty quick on Pop Rs before the top water bite just came to a screeching hault. For about the next hour and a half we threw the whole tackle box at em with no bites. About 9:00 or so we caught our first fish on a Wacky bubblegum Senko and caught fish with this method until we left at noon. Between the both of us we had about 30. Everything we caught were around the 1-2lb range.
