Checked the weather and my afternoon work schedule and took the boat back to work with me at lunch, knowing I'd find a place to go at the end of the day. 

Hit the water about 6:45. No takers for 30-40 minutes on green pumpkin wacky, purple/blue 10" TR, or swim bait in the timber on the boat launch side of the shore. 

Got the answer to all those uninformed that ask, "Why do you have 8 rods rigged in the boat?" Threw a white Ned rig that hooked up 3 times in about 15 casts, losing one in the timber that broke the line. Picked up TR rod, changed purple worm to white/green senko and promptly caught a nice Crappie. 

Good day to scratch the itch and get to fish. Water was up from recent rain and muddier than usual.
