Fry
My guest and I had good day with both numbers and size. We ended the morning landing 40 with the 5 largest totaling around 20 lbs. Nearly all were caught on the launch side of the tank. Most of those were caught within 10 ft. of the shore. Swimbaits and spinnerbaits worked really well. We also caught a few each on crankbaits and senkos. As you could probably guess, the water is down to 6 - 8 acres. The weeds have receded to a non factor in evaluating fishing strategies. Water clarity was 6 inches to a foot. The search baits with chartruese as the main color brought faster results than the others we tried. The colors black, blue, and green pumpkin were the fish catchers when using soft baits.
