On May 11th my guests and I arrived around 6:45 and fished with a lunch break until a tremendous thunderstorm ran us off the water around 5. We boated or nearly boated around 50 bass and caught several bream and warmouth. The effective lures used ranged from buzzbait, to whopper plopper, to poppers, to crank baits, and to ring worms. The largest was a 3 lb 14 oz bass which violently attacked a pico pop. The action was mostly steady all day with very few lulls, which made it an enjoyable event.
