I fished RC Monday for about an hour.  Not much positive to report. The lake is about 7 ft. low and covers about 7 acres according to the landowner, John.  He shared that previous trips from others had similar results as I did.  No fish taken and no taps, nibbles or bites.  I worked a 10 inch Power Worm in black with a chartruse tail and a Norman medium diving lure.

I know a fish kill took place earlier, but I attribute the issue for this trip being mainly water clarity.  Visibility was less than 6 inches for the entire lake.  The creek is dry and the area from the creek mouth to the boat launch is less than a foot in depth.

John said the rains have consistenty split up and missed his property for the most part..  He also said that a rain of several inches could fill the lake overnight.

This has been a great lake for our Houston and Austin fishermen.  Hopefully we can look forward to better days ahead if and when the rains come.
