I fished Hill Country Ranch on 23 Oct 2011 from 0700-1200.

Conditions:

water temp:  65
air temp:  60 -78
sky: clear (so clear I saw a shooting star when I arrived)
wind: calm
water clarity:  clear 2-4 ft

Top water was effective early (white frog, green/ivory Hedron torpedo).  Caught about 4, but missed about 8.  All were under 14”.

Caught another 5 small ones on a silver rattletrap and a aqua/chart. med. crank.

Caught a 4.0 lb on a white/charcoal spinner (this one was manufactured by Marshall Hogue, another member, who I fished with at BlackJack Ranch.  Thanks Marshall.)

All small fish were placed in the lower tank.
