Fry
Got on the water about 2:45 and fished until dark - about 7:00. I caught about 20 fish total. 10 were under 14” and culled. 4 were nice size bluegill and 5 bass over 14” - the largest weighed about 2.2 lbs. Had a nice one, probably 5 lbs or larger hooked on a silver fluke but he shook me off. Caught most of the rest including the bluegill on a tiger striped chartruese shallow diving crankbait called a “Super Scooper”. No luck with a Texas Rigged creature bait, a few hits on a silver rattletrap and late in the evening on a super spook.
Water is still being pumped into the lake so the level is good, the boat is nice, but would be a tight fit for two people.
