What an East Texas gem! My son and I fished 8 hours on 5/30/2021.  Caught 59. Culled 54. Threw swim baits, Texas and Wacky rigged Senkos, 1.5 Shad crankbait and weightless Flukes. Pretty cold and windy from 7:30 until 10:30. Out of the 5 released, two on crankbaits and three on flukes. Out of the 54 remaining,  6 on crankbait and the rest all on shad Flukes. The 5 gallom bucket was over flowing with culls! It was my first trip with this son in a dozen years and we had a BLAST! On a side note, Coming back from lunch there was 4 deer near the feeder that we stopped and watched for 5 minutes. Memories made!
