 I got to the gate at 7:30 am.  The lake is in the middle of an active ranch with no real road. The recent rain made for a sporty traverse across the pasture but I had 4x4 and a kayak trailer and made it to the launch area.  Once on the water, it was game on with top water near the shore grass line, Texas rigged plastics in stumps and trolling lipless cranks in the creek channel and near the dam.  Several chunks throughout the lake but also several dinks.  I culled 6 total bass and one surprise crappie on a crankbait. I knocked it off around 2:30.  Good day on the water.
