My son and I fished the east lake 6/6/21 morning trip. We got on the water around 6:35am after launching our boat. We have a 17’ Tracker Grizzly and although there isn't a defined boat launch we were able to get it in and out with no problems. Shortly after we got started, my son boated a couple small ones and a 3 lb on a black buzz bait. I threw a YM with no takers. As we made our way around the east side of the lake, the action went away. As we got back around to the west side it heated back up, big time! I boated a 7.3, 5.3, and a 3+ all in about a 15 minute span. They couldn't resist the swim bait. My son had switched over to a wacky senko a he caught a few more. A while later I picked up another 3+. Things slowed as the sun got up around 11am and shortly after we packed up and headed back home.
