Greetings Members -
I fished Sunday PM from 1P to 7P. For the first 5 hours I fished unsuccessfully from my kayak. There was clearly a great deal of frenzied feeding action around the perimeter, yet I only managed a few bites on a Stanley Ribbit frog (after having thrown just about everything in my arsenal at them).
Just before 6P I decided to bank fish which allowed me to fish the smaller body of water (@ full pool it may be one big body, I’m not sure). During that last hour I caught 5 total and missed 2. The largest two were 3.4 and 3.2. All were caught on a Tennessee shad Mister Twister grub.
The landowners were very nice and hospitable. Now, in the spirit of full disclosure, I am a beginner and I’m fairly certain that 3.4 was my personal best, for now…. I am a new member living in Houston and I’d like to thank all of those who have been posting reports as they provide a great source of learning.

Jason,
Thanks for the full disclosure. Sometimes as men we are hesitant to admit we are learning something new as we are always suppose to know everything about, hunting, fishing, car repair, HD Tv’s, tools, golf, wood working and of course women. The older I get the more I realize I know very little, but the good news is I find out most people are in the same boat, some just fake it better than others.
