A very mild fall morning with cloud cover and a light to moderate wind can make for some ideal fishing conditions.  Started off throwing a sunfish colored spinnerbait. A couple hours later I swicthed to a small jointed bluegill swimbait which can work similar to a Texas rig. Then the last hour or so was spent chucking a small crawfish rattletrap. The action was constant from the start. The size of the bass ranged from 10” - 16”. 32 fish were removed. A dozen or so were released to fight another day.

Russell,

Thanks for harvesting that many fish! I know many of you do not like to harvest and quite frankly I don’t either. It is a hassle. However, your hardwork is paying off. Six O Ranch and Sulphr Bluff Deer Trial have seen significant improvements over the past two years. On another note, we have harvested over 700 fish at LongBranch Yates place this year. Bringing home a mess of fish and cleaning them is a geat way to thank a neighbor.
