Fish were very active at Rock Chimney for a summer morning session.  I fished from 7:30-11:30 and the fish were hitting the whole time.  The bass wanted the bait moving pretty quickly whether it was a crankbait or a swimjig or a chatterbait or a jerkbait.  I also fished soft plastic craws and minnows with equal success.  Most of the fish were on the shallower side of the lake where flooded brush and grass had the fish feeding with all of the recent rains.  

The fish were mostly solid fish 2-4 pounds with a couple of dinks and even a large catfish thrown in for good measure.  Winds were very calm which made it a little surprising that they wanted a fast presentation. 

Water was as high as Ive seen it.
