Fished this property from 9 until 6PM.  Roy Cotton, member from Austin, joined me at noon and he fished until 6 PM also.

Conditions:

air temp:  38 - 71
Water temp: 58-60
Wind:  none before 10 AM; very gusty after 10.

I began with top water near the dam and had a couple of good hits, but did not land anything.  Tried to follow-up with a spinner, but no luck.  No other hits on top water anywhere.  Based on previous reports, I tried a tiger pattern crank bait fished on the outside grass edge near the dam and caught a couple. Had several chase that lure near the tree stumps, but no takers.  Caught the biggest bass in the little cove to the left of the dam on a shallow diving char. crank bait.  After Roy started fishing with me, he had some luck on a Tx-rigged purple worm.  I also had some success on the same rig, but with a green/red fleck senko.

We harvested 3 and about 5 were over 14”.  Several under 14” did a “quick release” near the boat.  The tank is still full and they are not pumping water into the tank.  Boat is in good condition.
