My guest and I fished Leinweber saturday afternoon then moved to this lake Sunday am. Two totally different lakes. Encino was low as Leinweber was but very fishable. Shallow end completely choked off. Water was crystal clear but heavy weeds, still leaving lots of beds to fish around and open deeper water. Kinda of strange but about the only bait the bass would bite were scented soaked weightless green red metal flake senkos...once we figured that out...catching became very consistant. Largest was 4.5 with others ranging from 3.5 down. Culled 16 and a bunch in the 15-18 range. Topwater worked a little with ribbitt frogs but the senkos worked with letting them sink with very slow retrieval.
