The water was murkier than I have ever seen it before(18"s) but it didn’t hinder the fishing at all. I tried in succession a spinnerbait and then a senko with only one taker the first hour. Next I put on a Sebile Crankster SR 50 in natural bluegill and the hits picked up and continued til I left 3 hrs. later. The slower the retrieve with frequent pauses, the better the action got. Finished with 28 bass boated with 17 of those harvested. Caught several 16"s on the far side bank in 1 -2 ft. depth. Launching is not a real problem here but be prepared to be in ankle deep mud when you push off.
