Fished Masagana Wed PM for 5 hours...Definitely warm but not too uncomfortable. Clouds provided some relief, not much breeze & water color was good & temp at 88 degrees. More center lake weeds than I expected...All caught on South end of lake (opposite ramp) in 3-5 ft with dark swim jigs, watermelon fluke & grn pumpkin wacky rig….No action on crankbait or spinner bait….Brush piles were good and the 4 lb was caught on the SE corner near bank reeds w/ blue swim jig & trailer...Bites were subtle and retrieves were mildly aggressive, probably the heat...Beautiful little lake.
