Fished St. Joe Sunday afternoon. A Numbers day plus one W plopper fish.😊  (See pic below). It was hot, but a fun day on the water. Most bass were 10 to 13 inches. The perch were hard fighters and hit pretty much anything.  Great lake to get action for most of the day. Many of the hard fighting perch were bigger than your hand. My first time here, but looks like an excellent lake to bank fish as well.  Had a good Yellow Magic topwater bite late in the day.  Water clarity was very clear.

Upsized my worm size to avoid the constant perch taps all over the lake, but could not entice any of the big ones. I did lose a 3 to 4 pounder on a spinnerbait late in the day near the PVC holding structure to right of launch who jumped and shook off a spinnerbait close to the boat.

One of the few Texas days so calm, the many wind farm turbines on the horizon we’re still or barely moving. I met the owner who was very welcoming and cordial and appreciates the PWF business.

A great lake to take the kids.  Thanks to PWF and the landowners!
