Weather forecast said it would warm to the upper 60’s, however, cold front hit and the temp stayed in the mid-40’s with a stiff NW wind; glad I took my coat…. First trip here, is quite a drive to the lake. Started fishing at 12, water visibility was about 9”, lake still down about 4’ - with that stiff N wind making fishing tricky. Caught 6 (harvested 1 dink), best 2 were 4.7 and 7lb, on a crank bait bounced off the rocks. Also caught 2 on a carolina rig. Called it a day at 4:30 - will head back out there when it’s a bit warmer….
