Fished Alysha Ranch with another member the morning for 8/5/21. Gorgeous weather with pleasant tempatures ,mild winds and cloud cover. The visibility was 18” which is about as good as this lake gets. We each had our own kayak and started out with frogs catching 12 before moving on to other plastics with weightless worms over the grass working extremely well. The bass were feeding on dragonflies and relating to the shallow areas with exposed grass.The next most effective method was a wacky worm and then tx rig worms on a light weight.They were active all around the lake.Everything we fished with had some green in it.

Caught a total of 90 bass with 18 small enough to remove. Alysha always produces in the hot summer months,maybe because of the dragonflies that relate to the shallow vegatation and all fish like to eat dragonflies
