Sorry, no good punchline. But 47 fish at JerMar ain't no joke. 

Fished with members Mike (the angler) and John (the pioneer) on a beautiful August Sunday.

Mike easily outcaught us for the day, boating 28 fish while hammering the abundant grass with his frogs and picking the brush piles apart with his pumpkin wacky trick worm. 

John went off road as he convinced me to fish upper JerMar (which the landowner has left a boat tied in the water for use). We scaled the culvert (be careful, the concrete is VERY slippery at the water's edge) and loaded up to paddle. John landed his two best fish of the day, and a third, while I struck out, despite my attentive copying of his technique. 

John had to leave at lunch, so Mike and I spent the afternoon, mostly at the brush piles, catching about 1 every pass at every pile with either a wacky rig, or a TR worm. 

Great day to be on the water with two great guys.
