Fished solo starting at 2;30. Sorely needing a break. As expected, I had to ride out some rain from 5:30-7, but had a great time…SOLITUDE…me and the bovine. Caught 20 and culled 10. largest was 4lbs with a 3 & 2 lbs and the rest from 12-15 inches. Best area was around the two brush piles and between them using soft plastics…mostly Rage Craw with small pinch weight about 4 inches up from the hook. Biggest fish on Ribbit Frog along bank after the rain. Very little vegetation, water clear up to 2 ft and lake is full. During the heat of the day, there must have been 50-60 cows in the water, then the rancher pulled up in an atv at the north end sending the cattle into a frenzy…thrashing to get out of the water to go eat…was quite amusing. Needless to say, it sure stirred up the water along the banks.
