Went back to Bennett. I truly like this lake. Had some luck on top water, but then the rest of my day was one of those throw the whole box type days. I would get a bite or two on a bait and then nothing. Never got on a pattern. Caught them on deep cranks, big glides, top water, you name it. Slower than my last trip, but I did get my heart rate up when I caught a ten pound catfish on a Bucca Bull Gill. Thought I had a new PB.

Road looked a little more washed out and my truck got stuck at the ramp. I got it out easy enough in 4 wheel, but something for my fellow members to consider. The grass is pretty tall as well. I walked around to check it for holes or dips before pulling the boat through to the ramp. Looked to be all good, but extra caution couldn’t hurt.
