Fished SW Weston all day on Wednesday and had a very relaxing day...Great picnic with my wife but no fish action….Great opportunity to launch my recently acquired Pelican Bass Raider & spent some time getting used to the launching process and the quirks of my boat setup… I managed to land a couple of 2 lb bass trolling the damn and also got a couple of small bites but that was it. I threw mostly Swim Jigs, Senkos & Paddletails with underspins( mixed the colors)...I had a consistent visual mark on my fishfinder at the 5-6 feet level in the center brush piles but could not entice any bites. I know they are out there, they just didn’t want to play...Beautiful, well manicured property & high marks for a picnic and relaxing. Maybe next time.
