First time to Lee Lake. Got there plenty early, and the pontoon was out of the water as the lake is a little low. Luckily my guest and I were able to maneuver it into the water.

Visually this place is stunning. The shoreline has enough variety to keep it interesting. The scatter timber was productive as well. There is a good amount of vegetation but it’s all subsurface and easily fished. The water is very clear. There was a nice mat of grass in the middle that was holding quite a few fish.

The fish are on the smaller size, but overall returned more than I culled. Good fight in a lot of them, especially using lighter tackle.

Fished a weightless texas rigged senko most of the day. Green pumpkin watermelon fleck.

Took a guest that has never fished and he landed 10. He probably could’ve landed twice that if he had a little more experience. The wind also kicked up gusting to 18mph so that limited the fishing some.

Overall a great day and an excellent property.
