Short & sweet.

Met my son for a beautiful fall day of fishing at BJR. We found the tank full and in great shape, as most of the submerged grass has died back and the brush piles are open.. Water temp post front 76F with with water clarity pproximately 1.5ft clarity (brown stain).

He caught 10 and I landed 23 with the biggest at 19”. We culled 10 with most of the culls between 13-14”.

A popper and a small crank each yielded a fish between dawn and sunrise and then it was game on for plastic style stick baits rigged wacky, trig, drop shot and shaky head. Main colors were grn pumpkin with blue, watermelon, with a bite or two on cheeto, and bubble gum (a first for me). Tried a number of other style plastics with no strikes.

Yet another fine outing!
