I was paralelleing the shore. Had shallow water pole set so boat would stay put. Fish took the crank bait and fought valiently. She came up and then went straight under the boat, it was 2.5 feet on the finder. I could not turn her, and she broke off. The 4.2 came as papralelled the area on the east side by the 4 man made posts. 2 3lb on worm came from aparalelling the shore.

Absolutely beautiful day. Water temp 68 early to 71 late.

For those that do not like grass, this would be a good choice for you, do not expect numbers, but the opportunity to get a big fish is here.
