Fished Brushy Creek on October 30th with new member Ethan Thomas and his wife Megan (non fisher). I hit the water around 8AM and Ethan and Megan joined me a little later. 

The main portion was very stained due to recent rains and the water level was the highest I had ever seen it. The water temp was 66 degrees and the sky was clear all day. According to the bass app it was going to be a tough day fishing. 

It was a tough day and I caught three bass and two large catfish. Ethan landed six bass (2-3 pounds each)and had several blow-ups that he could not land. 

Two of my bass were in the 2-3 pound range. Fortunately, one did land one that weighed 6.7. 

Megan helped get the bass in their larger net while Ethan brought his boat closer to my kayak  

I left around 4:30 and they left later. 

Looking forward to future trips with Ethan and Megan.
