Arrived in thick fog at dawn and had success near the mouths of the two creek channels throwing trig and wacky plastic sticks, flukes and two on a Bull Shad. Caught 16 with 5 in the 17-19” size range (the 19” came from the submerged tree halfway up in the south creek) and the rest 12-15”. Bite died once the fog dissapated at 10am.

Tried all of the usual spots with no success for the next few hours, but did have a nice visit by Mr. Stanely’s young Black Lab who kept me company for about an hour jumping in the water and stirring up the water clarity LOL. My canine partner finally got bored by the lack of action and sauntered off. I finished the day by pulling another 8 12”-14” bass out of the perimeter of a newly downed tree on the north cove and hit the road at 4pm.

It is good to see this tank full again and the water has a nice stain with about 1.5ft of visibility. Water temp was 65F.

I briefly saw Mr. Stanley and thanked him for another great time fishing his fine property!
