Had a family day of fishing with my Son & his Wife on 5/4/2010.
It was a great day to fish as the sky was cloudy until about 2:00 PM with a slight wind. The three of us caught 24 fish by noon all healthy and good looking fish. They were all 2 to 4 lbs and were willing to put on a good fight all the way to the boat. We stopped fishing about noon time and had a great lunch under a shade tree that had a picnic table setup. The owner drove up on a four wheeler while we were eating and stopped to visit with us. He was nice and checked to see if we needed anything. We started fishing again about 1:00 PM and fished until 7:00 PM. The clouds were blown away by a steady afternoon wind but this change of weather did not stop the fish from biting. We caught 28 fish that afternoon for a day total of 53 Fish. The largest in the boat was caught by my son it was 5.59 LBS.
I had a much larger fish that afternoon that got off because i had tired a bad knot. My son also had a larger fish that had graduated from Fish School on how to spit the bait back at You.
All of the Larger fish that day were caught on Spinner Baits. We did try worms and crank baits but only caught smaller fish and fewer fish.  What a great day of Family Fishing.
