Arrived around 10:30. Did not check the weather prior to heading out. Upon arrival I was greeted with gale force winds, I kid you not I am pretty sure I saw white caps. Unfourtunatly I had packed up my Kaku Voodoo Kayak for this trip, decided it was best to leave it on the rack today.

Headed to the first peninsula over by the fish feeder and found a small bit of refuge to protect me from the wind. I was working with a 5wt so casting in the winds was tough but managed to find a few bluegill and crappie hanging out in the reeds in the only direction I could cast.

Greatly enjoyed our trip and was very impressed with the incredible water clarity. Excited to return on a windless day.
