Fished from 8 - 3:30 with decent results considering the season and todays weather. I boated 16 and lost nearly that many due to some poor hook setting. I did manage to land several feisty 18 -20 ” that gave my light finesse rig quite a work out. Most of the activity centered around the large lay down located at upper end of the tank near the pier. 3 hours of fishing at the dam produced zero bites. The wind was not my friend today as it routinely pushed me off my spots with gale force gusts and chilly water splashing over the side rails of my kayak into my lap. A bream colored spinnerbait was the lure of the day. A bream rattletrap and a black/blue swimming senko also caught a few. 6 fish were harvested.
