Fished with a good buddy of mine from Waco from about 1:30pm – 5:30pm.  Nice change since last fishing here – boat is a flat bottom vs. a deep v-hull.  Water gin clear, weather windy but warm – day before a cold front.  Most fish caught on the sunny bank of the creek arm and in the grassy part off the main point. Green, weightless Texas rigged fluke caught the most fish.  One tip if you come in on Highway 6 from Waco.  There’s a BBQ place a few miles before hitting Valley Mills called Helbergs.  I highly recommend this place. Great eats.  Be sure to get the pickles and onions.
