Fished China Grove from 9:30 – 12:30 on 1/22. First time at the property so we spent some time checking out the lakes as well as the cabins. Got into some bass on in the second pond, all but one on watermelon Senko fished wacky-rigged. Also had fun with some big bluegills on a fly rod. All in all, about 20 fish brought to hand with a bunch more hooked but lost. There’s lots of fish in the first two lakes. Had a nice visit with Devon. He said he is in the process of moving a good number of fish from the second to the third pond. Nice morning in East Texas.
