Went to the pond with a friend who is a novice fly fishing angler. I brought along my stand-up kayak and this time the winds permitted me to fish the right side flooded timber for the majority of half-day. I managed to catch two smaller bass and six crappies during my adventures. I worked my way along the left side shore, the timber in the middle was difficult to fish with the wind. I utilized a chartreuse Clouser for the entirety of the day and found solid success. I think the bigger fellas have probably hunkered down in the deeper area that my floating line prevented me from working thoroughly. My fishing partner managed to catch his first fish on the fly. His totals were three. crappie two sunfish All in all awesome day property and pond are beautiful, love the clarity of the water. Love fishing this spot up 35.
