I fished Martin Mills Lakeside on Monday February 6th with a guest. We got started around 12:30 after meeting Mr. Martin. We fished until 5:30 and caught / harvested 4 bass under 14 inches about 2 and a half lbs. ½  We missed about 6 each in the shallow end of the lake. We were using shallow running crank baits and beetle spins. We did not catch any crappie or large catfish but we did see them when the feeder went off.  All in all it was a comfortable nice winter day with light winds and plenty of sun. I will be back to fish his site again very soon.   There was some Filamentous Algae (Green Slime) in the shallower parts of the lake that made it hard to fish shallow diving crank baits but we were able to work past it.
