Reservation Number : 31008
Property Name : Rock Chimney
Reservation Date : 01/29/2022 All Day -
Total Fish/Sizes : 8 - 1# up to 3.5#
Lures Used : Fly Fishing - Wacky worm and bait patterns

Got to the lake at 8:00 AM and temps were in low 30’s.  Turned out to be a beautiful day with minimal wind and highs in the mid 50’s.  Water temp was 52 in the morning and warmed up to 55 by the afternoon.  Decided to hit the dam first, with no luck.  Caught two small ones by the downed tree in the northeast corner by the dam on a rattletrap pattern. Worked my way to the larger creek about 10:00 and the bite started.  Caught 6 from 1# up to 3.5# until 12:00, mostly on a wacky worm pattern. Had a long conversation with Mr. Stanley.  He has some great stories.  Afternoon was tough fishing without landing another one.  Finally left about 5:00.  Lake is full and visibility down about 2 feet.

I came up with it.  I like to tie flys that look like traditional bass lures.
