Only the elderly, myself included, will understand the reference.  But  yesterday was "A one, and a two and a three....".  In order of appearance:

#1:  1 lb bass on a rattletrap

#2:   2 lb bass on a TR pumpkinseed senko

#3:   3 lb bass (she may have been a bit heavier but it wouldn't fit the narrative) on a TR white fluke.

All were caught casting from that area to the left of the fire pit.  No dinks.  Nothing from anywhere else, though  I logged a few miles trying.

As usual, lost a couple of others, one (that could have been a 4) on the 3rd jump, which was a lot of fun watching even if I didn’t get her to the Bank.  Another one broke me off on the pumpkinseed but it could have been a tired knot.

Started at 8, but nothing till 9:30 or so.  Water was very clear.  No thermometer, but definitely too cold to bathe in.  Glassy in the morning, but the wind really picked up as the day wore on. Lots of grass and hydrilla.

They had no interest at all in chatterbaits, topwaters and anything else I had.
