Post front morning and it was about 20 degrees when I got on the water at sun rise.  Yep, line was freezing, reels were grinding but I was fishing.  There was no wind and it turned out to be a beautiful day.  I have never used an A rig before so I tried it.  First cast with it, boom, it gets real heavy and I tried to get it to the kayak but rookie mistake, could not grab my net and hold the tension, lost it!  Uggghhh.  Threw that A rig back out there, got it stuck and lost it.  Had to just suck it up and keep fishing because I did not have another rig.  Focused on shaky head with a green pumpkin KVD Ocho worm and a black and blue chatter bait. Had a blast and caught a total of 10 nice fish for the day.  The water was way down and you can see the bumps the land owner put between the middle of the pond, in between the fish feeders.  This is one of my favorite lakes of PWF and I really appreciate the quality of this fishery.
