Family joined me for some pre-spawn fishing at Lake Encino. My son (4 yrs old) hauled in 3 bass all ~2 lbs. & over. I caught a 5, two 4’s, & a couple 2’s of my own. All keepers & released back into the low waters. We hung out with the incredible longhorn & fished in water between 6” & 3 ft deep all day just cast-&-reel covering as much water as possible. No fish caught deeper than that. Great day on the water. 

Water level was low & moss was manageable. Saw schools of minnows getting hammered in the shallows & a huge pelican staking his claim to the southern part of the lake. 

Had trouble with the gate coming in & going out of the property, but PWF staff responded quickly & helped us get everything squared away. Appreciate it, Cole & Scott!
