Fished Medina-Gallant Elms on Friday March 18^th. Lake is at least 10 feet low, making what little is left of the upper 1/3 of the lake totally inaccesable due to the shallow water. Still, launching a boat is absolutely no problem. Water is extremely clear, and we could see several fish in the 3-6 pound range roaming the flat in the upper end of the lake. Ended up taking one that weighed 6.54lb and one that weighed 4.25 pound, both on weightless Senkos in Blue/Black and Smoke/Red. Culled a total of 55 under 14”, also on weightless Senkos and Flukes. We probably lost at least 15 more cull fish due to fishing with barbless hooks. All fish looked VERY healthy with full stomachs and vivid color/markings. Great day, just hate to see the lake this low.
