Greg Couch and I fished Butler lake on Saturday 3/27 from 7:30-5:30 with good results.  Air temp was 55 when we arrived and the water was warmer.  The water was green with about a foot of visibility.

The fish were very active when we got to the lake and they were chasing baitfish in the shallows.  Caught some nice fish in the weedy shallows.  The size of the fish here is good with the average probably 3+ pounds we did catch a good number of bass over 4 pounds with the biggest at 7.33 pounds.

The bite slowed as the day progressed and we struggled to catch fish the last hour or so.  We fished all depths of water but mostly caught them shallow within 10 feet of the bank.
