Mike and I fished Saurday afternoon at Pecan Gap.  Just an absolute beautiful afternoon to be on the water.  Water temp started at 60 degrees and rose to 64 degrees by the time we left.  Water clarity was good.  Could see down 5’.  We caught 12 bass.  Two went at 4 lbs, one at 3 and one at 2 ¾ lbs.  The rest were all smaller.  We tried all kinds of different lures, but the only thing we could catch fish on was a wacky rigged watermelon red Senko.  Most were caught along the dam or on the sw side of the lake.  Had a couple of nice chats with Craig, the landowner.  This is a property we love to fish.  It is just beautiful and really appreciate having a concete boat ram for launching and recovering our two small boats.  The realtive short drive for us is also a plus.
