March 1, 2012, pm.  Water is way up from last summer.  It is also warming and clear.  Not much vegetation yet. I caught 3 fish at 12” and one 20.5”.  I caught the 3 small fish on a ch/wh buzz bait in the southwest corner.  I caught the 5lber? with a texas rigged bl/blue beaver tail in the north west corner.  I missed a medium sized fish near the old dock on south side on a flat bill baby bass colored crank bait.  I fished from 3-5:30pm.  I caught no fish out in the middle and did not have a strike on white swimbait,  sinko with slip shot, or ribbitt.  I think I saw a couple of small perch and some minnows.  Lots of turtles, teal and there is a beaver at beaver lake.
