Fingerling
Its cool, not cold, with a nice cloud cover and a freshening wind while I unload the boat and gear @ 8:30 this morning. With in a 1/2 hour of launch there are white caps on the water and I seek shelter at the north west corner of the lake. This limits my fishing but the wind here is down around 20mph. and almost manageable. Caught fish, 37 in all, but nothing of any size. All were harvested, all on crank baits as that seemed my best option with the wind. Last time here I mixed in a few larger fish, not so today, but I never fished a large portion of the lake. Still, time on the water and a tug on the line.
