Clymer Lake report 3/8/12.
Bill Morris and I hand-launched our jonboat at 7:30AM. Lake was full. Wind 30-35mph. Water temp 59 degrees. Cloudy with front moving in fast. Full moon the night before. White caps on the main lake so we fished the south end of the lake with protection from trees and dam, as well as reeds. Caught 42 bass, quitting at 3pm. Largest was 3.2 lbs. Most successful with watermelon red horny toads, although KVD 1.5 crank bait useful at times. All bass were caught in the reed pools and released unharmed. We plan to fish the lake again in either April or May.
